
Now Action Center will start showing notifications in Windows 10. Then enable the option again and restart your computer.

PS: If the above mentioned option is already enabled in your computer and you still face notifications problem, first disable the option and restart your computer. Now in right-side pane, enable “ Let apps run in the background” option.ĥ. PS: Alternatively, You can directly launch this page using “ ms-settings:privacy-backgroundapps” command in RUN dialog box as mentioned here.Ĥ. In left-side pane, scroll down to bottom and click on “ Background apps” section. Now click on “ Privacy” item present in Settings app.ģ. Alternatively, you can direct open Settings app using WIN+I hotkey.Ģ. Open Start Menu and click on Settings option. To fix this issue, you just need to manually enable the option using following steps:ġ. If a user has turned off this option manually in his Windows 10 computer, he’ll start facing this problem related to Action Center and notifications. This bug or issue occurs in Windows 10 devices when an option to let apps run in background is disabled. But these workarounds don’t fix the problem permanently. Some temporary workarounds to fix this issue include restarting computer, logout and login again and restarting Windows Explorer. Many people claim that the issue was resolved by a new cumulative update specifically KB4476976 released on Janubut we have received reports from various Windows 10 users that they are still facing this issue. It is a known bug or issue present in Windows 10 newer versions. All notifications are dismissed or cleared in Action Center, as soon as you open Action Center by clicking on its icon in Taskbar. So basically when this problem occurs, Action Center no longer displays any new notifications. So the user can’t access any notification in Action Center.


Action Center doesn’t show any notification, all notifications disappear. The icon of Action Center in Taskbar notification area (system tray) also changes and starts showing the count of unread notifications as shown in following screenshot:īut as soon as you click on Action Center icon in Taskbar to read the new notifications, Action Center opens blank showing “No new notifications” message. Whenever a new notification arrives in Windows 10, Action Center shows a toast notification/banner at the bottom-right corner.
